Basic Manoeuvres - recreational aerobatics
The basic list of manoeuvres that the aerobatics student should be able to tackle with success are:
- Aileron Roll, left hand & right hand
- Loop
- Quarter Clover rolling upwards & downwards, left hand & right hand
- Barrel Roll, left hand & right hand
- Stall Turn, left hand & right hand
- Half Cuban Eight, rolling on the down line
- Half roll off the top
- Slow Roll, left hand & right hand
The student should also be able to recover from the following safely:
- Non precision spin, both incipient, and fully developed
- Any unusual attitude that the student, or instructor, can get the aircraft into!
The videos above show a representative selection from this basic set of manoeuvres that should help identify where the aerobatic pilot should be looking during that manoeuvre.
